Even if you are not a sewer the fabric and haberdashery market tour is definitely not to be missed as the market is definitely a must-see!
Join us for the morning of 15th October where our tour leader will navigate us through the labryinth of fabrics, haberdashy supplies, craft materials, buttons, beads, knitting yarns, embroidery supplies, upholstery, all the sewing services that are on offer and so much more!  We will be shown where to go to have cushions made up, where to buy silk and where to take it to be made into a scarf (fabulous for presents).  We will also visit the neighbouring Gwangjang market which is considered Seoul's oldest market and has over 5,000 shops and employs 20,000 people.  It is known for its fabrics and the renowned "button alley" is here as well as lots of food stalls.

Due to the narrow aisles in the fabric market, only small groups can be accommodated and so we can only have six-8 people maximum on this tour.  However, our guide is very happy to do other tours for us, so if you cannot get onto this tour, please email Linda at basseoul@yahoo.comand we will look into organising another tour.
