As the name suggest, Paju Book City is a city of books belonging to the Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism.  Books out-number people by about a ratio of 20:1.  It is home to 250 publishers with approximately 10,000 people working here just for the purpose of keeping the Korean book culture alive. The modern and minimalist architecture, book cafe's, bookstores, galleries and restaurants make the place an interesting day-trip from Seoul.
