The British Association of Seoul is a vibrant and active social group for British expatriates and all nationalities. In fact our current BASS committee hails not only from England, but also from Scotland, Germany, Malaysia, America and South Korea.
We seek to enhance our members’ experience in Seoul, and provide hope and financial assistance to Korean charities in need.
Our international group of approximately 50 members, hosts a full calendar of social events and maintains strong ties to the local community through fundraising efforts.
Many of our social events are held to raise money for the charities we support.
BASS members enjoy:
A packed program of social events, including coffee mornings, outings to explore different neighborhoods, Walkie Talkies - weekly hikes, monthly evening book club gatherings, lunches, day drips, biking riding, Christmas functions and much much more...
Regular newsletters, listing both BASS and community events, delivered via email
Members only Kakao chat groups for specific events and to generally keep in touch and share useful information
Special members’ admission prices to events
Close ties to the British community
BASS is a welcoming group and we always look forward to greeting newcomers.
Many of our events, including the monthly coffee morning, are open to non-members, for a fee of KW10,000 that is used to support our charities.
