About the event

Meet Konkuk University Station, 10:30, Exit 6.  Our tour will begin on Yangkkochi Street (Chinese Food Street) and we will pass a popular Chinese restaurant that we've identified as a possible lunch venue for anyone who is interested.  Next to it is a large wholesale grocery store that has very good prices on nice wines and all other groceries are much cheaper than you will find in most other shops.  We can shop at the end of the tour.  We will pop into several cool warehouse cafes to have a quick look around, including Daelim Chango, Tongue Planet, Granpa Factory, Cafe Onion and Oude, which often has a queue to get in.  We can choose one as a coffee stop.  We will stop in a few cool shops, including Supy, Thingool, and a large second hand clothing store called Market In U.  We will visit a Mono Mart which is a wholesale grocery store selling mostly Japanese food, fresh and frozen, with some random other foods for sale, frozen Chicago pizza for example.  We will stop by Common Ground, a large container shopping mall.  One section houses several vintage clothing stores and there are several restaurants as well.  From there, we can head back to the Chinese restaurant and grocery store, or people can go their own way.  We can direct you back to Kongkuk station.  Bring lots of shopping bags.  Walk will be about 6K and about 3+ hours but anyone can drop out at anytime.
