A challenging hike up to the delightful Seunggasa Temple and then up to Samobawi Rock, where the views of both Seoul and Bukhansan National Park are worth the climb.

About the event
This is a steep challeging hike up many stairs, rocky paths and mountain trail to a beautiful temple founded in 757 containing two national treasures including a carved image of buddha in the side of the mountain. Then a further 900m up is Samobawi Rock with stunning views of the mountains and Seoul.
We will hike up at a gradual pace. Please wear good hiking boots and bring water and snacks.
This hike is being lead by Robyn, a BASS member.
Anyone with experience living abroad is welcome to join BASS, regardless of nationality. The annual family membership fee is KRW 50,000 (September 1 to August 31). Members can bring a guest to most events for a KRW 10,000 fee, paid by either the member or the guest. Events with limited spaces, with a waitlist, priority registration will be given to BASS members. Fees support administrative costs and charity donations.…
