2022m Seoul Hiking Challenge - Baegundae
Join BASS members who are participating in the 2022m Seoul Hiking Challenge, on their biggest challenge yet, Baegundae Summit (836m) in Bukhansan National Park. This will be a full day out.

About the event
Rating: 3+ (1=easy, 4=very difficult)
We estimate it will take us 6 to 7 hours to complete, with plenty of rest stops along the way.
Pack a lunch, snacks, and plenty of water (1 litre minimum). You may also wish to brinig a small foldable picnic mat which you can purchase at Daiso.
Bring a windbreaker for the summit where it is cooler and windier than the rest of the trail.
Hiking shoes and polls are highly recommended and you may wish to bring anti-slip gloves for the fixed poles, ropes.
To reach the summit, we'll need to hike up steeper and steeper terrain. There will be some scrambling involved and some climbing up the surface of a rock with the help of ropes. Please know your ability.
Your efforts will be rewarded with stunning views.
Free for BASS members. Guest fee is KRW10,000 or you can pay your annual BASS membership fee of KRW50,000 at this event.
