Join us for our first spring hike for 2025. We will hike along the Bugaksan section of the Seoul City Wall. The final section of our series of four walks along the Seoul City Wall.

About the event
Hanyangdoseong, the Seoul City Wall is an 18+km historical site following the ridges of the four main mountains surrounding the centre of Seoul. Construction of the wall commenced in 1396 and approximately 14.5 km still exists today.
Bugaksan is one of the main mountains of central Seoul and is behind the Blue House and Gyeongbokgung Palace. Access to Bugaksan was restricted for almost 40 years after the infiltration of Cheong Wae Dae and the assassination attempt of the then Korean President in 1968.
This hike will be approximately 6 kms long, however, this will depend on our finish point as some sections of the wall walk are currently closed. We will start at Hyehwamun Gate and follow the wall along to as close to the summit as we can go. We will be walking through the Hyewa-dong neighbourhood and Waryong Park to Sukjeonmun Gate.
