About the event
The Ecological Park was the first park of its kind to be established in Seoul and provides a lovely respite from the hustle and bustle of central Seoul. Yeouido Park was once an airfield - apparently Seoul's first airport - which has been transformed into beautiful recreational greenspace amidst the modern day financial district. The Yeouido section of Hangang Park is the prime location to watching the autumn fireworks festival and the upcoming Cherry Blossom Festival.
Walking shoes are recommended.
Anyone with experience living abroad is welcome to join BASS, regardless of nationality. The annual family membership fee is KRW 50,000 (September 1 to August 31). Members can bring a guest to most events for a KRW 10,000 fee, paid by either the member or the guest. Fees support administrative costs and charity donations. Some events, like those at the British Embassy, are members-only due to limited space.
