Hike Baegundae Peak in Bukhansan National Park

Thu 20 Nov

|

Baegundae

Members are invited to hike Seoul's highest peak. On clear days, at 836m, it boasts outstanding views of Seoul & the surrounding regions. The view is well worth the short, hard climb up. This hike has many rocky steps, as well as wooden stairs. The last section involves rock scrambling and ropes.

About the event

Robyn is looking forward to leading this hike. It is one of her favourites. The view from the peak is breathtaking.

It is a challenging beautiful hike up. Stunning views, a temple and hopefully some autumn colours. It is steep, rocky with plenty of steps.

Suitable hiking boots are a must. With the metal ropes and scrambling at the last section, gloves are recommended.

We will start the hike at the Baegundae Park Visitors Info centre and walk to the top. Depending on how we feel we have two options either return to where we started or we head over to Bukhansanseong visitors information centre.

We will walk at a gentle pace, with rest stops and photo opportunities.

Maximum of 6 participants.
