About the event
Seochon literally translates to West Village as it is located in the west of the historic center of Seoul, west of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Seochon hanok village is home to many small galleries, coffee shops, boutiques, cafes, pubs, fabulous restaurants and even a hidden temple. This will be a "snap-shot" tour taking in different parts of this neighborhood, so that you can come back and explore. We will also visit Sejong Food & Culture Street and Tongin Market, established in 1941, and famous today for its lunch box cafe. In 2011, the market started using a special coin paying system which allows visitors to try different types of Korean dishes at a very low price.
