WALKIE TALKIE HIKE, 9:30 Inwangsan Mountain Trail, Seoul City Wall

Rescheduled from 6 Oct. Mt. Inwangsan is a ridge trail along the old Seoul city wall, ascending from one side of the mountain, passing through the summit (338.2m) before descending down the other side. The trail has some rocky sections, with numerous resting places and great views.

About the event
You will be rewarded with great views of Namsan Park, the Han River, the Blue House, and Gyeongbokgung Palace. This trail also features some unusual rock formations including Chimabawi (Rock of women’s skirt), Seonbawi (Rock of meditating monk), and Gichabawi (Rock of train). The hike will end at Changuimun Gate in the village of Buamdong which has some lovely coffee shops. From Buamdong, we will catch bus number 7212, 1020 or 7022, a short ride back to Gyeongbokgung Station (Line 3)
Time: 9:30-12:30pm
Meet: Dongnimmun Station (Line 3), Exit 1. Meet outside the exit.
Route grading: 2+ (1=easy to 4=very difficult)
Cost: Members free, non-member KW 10,000 . You may pay your new member annual fee of KW50,000 on the day.

Hiking boots recommended. Please bring plenty of water and snacks as we will make rest stops along the way.
Please be punctual. We need to stick to our timeframe to ensure that those who have childcare commitments will not be late. We will wait for late-comers a maximum of 15 minutes. Let us know in the morning if you are running late or if you will not be joining us.
