We will kick off the hiking season with a short hike in Northwestern Seoul. We will walk the Imalsan Graveyard Trail that is 2.6 km and can be completed in under an hour. The walk ends at the Eunpyeong Hanok Village.

About the event

The Eunpyeong Dulle-gil Trail is a lowland walking path that connects the foothills of Bongsan, Aengbongsan, and Bukhansan mountains in Northwestern Seoul. The total length of this trail is 23.7 km and includes scenic, historical and ecological areas. Eunpyeong Hanok Village is a planned community of Hanoks, developed by Seoul City as a historical, cultural and tourist site.  We can explore the village and visit a temple before catching a short bus ride back to Yeonsinnae station. Time:  9:30am-12:30pm.  Please be on time and let us know if you are running late or if you cancel. Meet:  Gupabal Station, Line 3, meet outside at Exit 3. Route grading: 1 (1=easy to 4=very difficult) Please bring plenty of water and a snack.   Hiking boots are advisable. Please wear a mask at all times and wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before you join the group. Please RSVP on the BASS website by 6pm on Monday 7 Sept so that we can put in place any other precautions that might be necessary to abide by social distancing regulations. Membership signup available at this event.  Annual family membership is KW50,000.  Non-members hike fee is KW10,000.  BASS is non-profit and all fees are donated to BASS supported charities who need our help now more than ever.
