About the event
The War and Women's Human Rights Museum honours Korean women and girls forced into sexual slavery by Japan before and during World War II, as well as women around the world who suffered from sex crimes during wars. Run by the civic group Korean Council for Justice and Remembrance for the Issues of Military Sexual Slavery by Japan.
Opened in 2012, in a residential building, the museum's exhibitions and displays are moving and, in parts, confronting, and provide powerful messages on injustice and hope.
On arriving at 1030 am we hope to attend a short education session prior to visiting the museum's exhibitions. We are waiting on confirmation of this.
Afterwards, for those who would like, we will walk to a nearby restaurant for lunch.
The entrance fee is W5000 per person.
A maximum of 15 participants.
