The home looks after around 70 elderly residents, some of whom suffer from Alzheimer’s or other conditions. It is on the outskirts of Chuncheon, overlooking peach orchards and mountains.

In July 2018, BASS donated five million KRW which was used to buy seven new beds, specially designed with rails on each side to prevent falls. In October 2019 BASSS donated a further five million KRW allowing them to purchase new shower trolleys and two more beds.

Our President and Welfare Coordinator visited the home in January 2019, where they met the friendly staff and cheerful residents. As well as seeing the new beds, which each have a BASS label attached, they were shown the pleasant dining and recreation area, including an outdoor space and vegetable garden.
