Woorinuri supports talented children from low income families, providing them with the financial support to pursue their dreams, be it to sing, act, compete in a sport or teach. Children are supported through their schooling and in most cases the successful students return to help younger children.

Our Welfare Coordinator visited the foundation during the summer and was impressed by the activities and enthusiasm of Myoung Han and her staff. BASS has supported Woorinuri by donating 1.5 million KRW (50% of money raised at the BASS Christmas Fair in November 2018) towards running costs.

We were very fortunate to have three students perform at recent BASS events in 2018: two delightful singers at the Christmas Fair 2018 and a talented pianist at the Mince Pie Morning held at the British Ambassador’s Residence. BASS will continue to support Woorinuri where possible.
