About the event

Join us to discover the Changgyeonggung Palace grounds on Thursday, November 17, 10:00 am - 12:30 pm. We will meet in front of the Honghwamun Gate which is the main gate of Changgyeonggung Palace. Suggested donation is 10,000 won or more to support the Eastern Social Welfare Society, an organisation that provides a broad range of services for children, single mothers, disabled people and seniors. Changgyeonggung (Korean: 창경궁; lit. Changgyeong Palace) is a palace located in central Seoul not far from the Gyeongbokgung Palace, the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty. Changgyeonggung Palace was mainly used as living quarters of the royal family. The palace was built in the mid-15th century by King Sejong for his father, Taejong.
