BASS has arranged an Kimchi making class at the Museum Kimchikan of Seoul! This is a great way to connect with the food and culture of Korea by learning about the food's history, its many historical and regional varieties and its importance to Korean culture and cuisine.

About the event
"Museum Kimchikan is a unique museum dedicated to kimchi and kimjang, the process of making kimchi which was designated as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The museum was also selected by CNN in March 2015 as one of the world’s top 11 food museums. Visitors can learn the history of kimchi as well as learn and get a taste of the different types of kimchi." Please note: 1. You have to take out your kimchi. We provide kimchi containers, but we don't provide plastic bags for wrapping kimchi containers. 2. This program is for adults. Participation from the age of 8 or older is allowed only when they are with their parents or guardians. Special care and responsibility is required when using a sharp knife to cut vegetables. 3.
