Time & Location

23 Oct 2025, 10:00 – 13:00

Bangbae-dong, Bangbae-dong, Seocho District, Seoul, South Korea

About the event

In Korea, Minhwa refers to “the painting of the people” artworks that use bold colours, traditional techniques, and often weave in social commentary.

In this one-off workshop, you will learn simple gradation techniques on hanji paper. Guided by Diane, who has been teaching at the French community (Seorae Global Village), you will create your own Tiger & Magpie painting, a motif that symbolises good fortune, wards off negative energy, and serves as a subtle critique of the ruling class.

Conducted in English & French

Cost: 50,000 KRW includes all materials

Limited to 6 BASS participants

Location: Diane’s Atelier- near Bangbae Station
